If you have offered to help at the fair next Sunday and work for Vodafone, we would be interested in hearing from you as we could apply for match funding for the event.
The gift and craft fair is one of our major fund-raising event and in order to make this as successful as in previous years we could really use a little extra help.
Saturday 16th November – Setting up
During the day on Saturday we need some help with setting up the tables for the stall holders. A time has yet to be confirmed but this should only take a few hours.
Sunday 17th November – In the kitchen
During the day of the craft fair we take over the dining room and serve breakfast, tea and coffee to the stall holders as they are setting up and then we are open for lunch serving drinks, soup, pizza, sausage rolls and cakes for visitors to the fair. As well as needing help on the day in the kitchen with preparing and serving the food we also require donations of homemade soup! Any soup made can be dropped off on the day directly to school and if you could let us know before hand that would be great.
We have five different time slots to fill with budding helpers!! These are :-
- 08.00 - 09.30 Setting up.
- 09.00 - 11.00 Serving tea, coffee & bacon rolls for stall holders.
- 11.00 - 13.00 Prep & serving lunch & drinks.
- 13.00 - 15.00 Serving lunch & drinks.
- 14.30 - 16.30 Clear up.
Sunday 17th November – Set up, Raffle & Door
We require some help to make our event run smoothly on the day and to do this we will need extra help to assist with the following :-
- 08.00 - 11.00 Set up.
- 11.00 - 16.00 Door.
- 11.00 - 16.00 Raffle.
- 16.00 - 17.00 Clear up.
If you think that you may be able to help with any of the above we would really appreciate as much or as little of your time as possible.
Please don’t hesitate to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions about the event.
Please note that we are fully booked.
Please note that the Gift and Craft fair on the 17th November is fully booked. Please do not send us any application form for this year’s fair as we will not be able to accept them. Please email us if you wish to be added to our reserve list or to our mailing list for next year’s fair.
Please feel free to download this poster here and advertise the event.
If you are able to help on the day, please let us know by emailing us at email@example.com
Families and friends flocked to the annual Food Festival and Fete on Saturday 6 July and enjoyed hot, sunny weather, games and stalls, entertainment and a great choice for lunch from the range of food and drinks on offer. The popular Year 7 Ready Steady Cook competition saw the Davis competitors crowned as winners. The event, organised by the Parents’ Association, was a great success and has raised valuable funds for the school.
Thank you to all the volunteers who played a part in the fete. Thank you to everyone who helped, attended, shopped, baked and spent their time and money.
The summer fete is one of the big events run organised by the Parents’ Association and without your help, it wouldn’t happen.

There is also a slideshow you can view here.
We look forward to seeing you in the autumn at our next event, the Gift and Craft Fair on Sunday 17th November.
